"WOW"
Our very friendly reception led to the wow moment when we were shown to our room. We had reserved a superior room and we're given Suite Teodora e Giustiniano. The enormous bedroom contains a king size bed, seating for at least 10 people and lots of space to move around. It is capped by a high domed ceiling showing peons of a 19th century fresco. Off the bedroom is an anteroom containing a bar fridge and tea and coffee supplies. This leads to the bathroom, which is as big as many Italian hotel rooms. To our surprise, Casa Masoli actually supplies washcloths - a rarety in European hotels and B&Bs in our experience. Casa Masoli is in a perfect location on a quiet street within an easy walk of the train station. The room we had has to be the best value we've ever had in European accommodation.
